Updated as of May 19 - Abu is the site manager of the Tonkolili Field Project in Sierra Leone. His work has enabled the protection of two large communities of wild chimpanzees. Abu has contracted a very serious disease; however, he cannot get the necessary treatment due to the costs associated. This fund is endeavouring to assist Abu with his medical costs so that he can get better and return to the work he loves.

Update: Abu is likely going to need to be transported to Ghana for surgery. The goal has been updated accordingly. Thank you everyone!
