In September, my whole life changed overnight. I contracted COVID and was rushed to the hospital due to chest pains and being unable to walk. In the ER they confirmed the COVID and also told me from a CT of my chest they did I had a 8cm mass near my heart. From there I had multiple doctors appointments, PET scans, and a biopsy to figure out what the mass was. In October, I got another call that changed my whole world from my doctors stating I had Diffuse Large B Cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, an aggressive and fast-growing cancer in my chest that was now pressing on vital organs including arteries and I needed to go to the hospital the next day to begin treatment. My treatment plan now is staying in the hospital for 5 days at a time, receiving 24-hour chemotherapy every 3 weeks. I had to leave my job, which caused a lot of financial difficulties for my family as our savings are about dried up now.
My wonderful fiancé is now my caretaker along with caring for our two children while I’m fighting for my life in the hospital. To help with the burden this caused my family, I've made this fundraiser in hopes it would relieve a source of stress for us during this difficult time. If you can, please donate; anything helps. Thank you and God bless.
