I’m Abseiling Down Anfield for Young Lives vs Cancer

I’ll be doing something that genuinely terrifies me… abseiling down the side of Anfield Stadium all to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer.

Yes… I’ll be stepping over the edge of the home of Liverpool FC. And while the thought of the height makes my stomach flip, I know it’s nothing compared to what children and young people facing cancer go through every single day.

I’m doing this because no child should have to face cancer alone. And no family should have to deal with the emotional and financial pressure that comes with it.

Young Lives vs Cancer supports families from the moment they hear the words no one ever wants to hear. They help with accommodation close to hospitals, financial grants when parents can’t work, and emotional support during the most frightening and uncertain time of their lives.

My challenge will last minutes. The challenges these families face can last months or even years.
