Mike's Abseil Challenge for Bedford MS Therapy Centre
My name is Mike, and this October I will abseil down the 418ft National Lift Tower in Northampton to raise money for the Bedford MS Therapy Centre.
I don’t have multiple sclerosis and none of my family have multiple sclerosis, so why this charity? Because I have Parkinson’s Disease and this therapy centre has become pivotal in the management of my condition. Last year, the Bedford MS Therapy Centre opened its doors to those with Parkinson’s, and the support and help that I and other Parkies have received has been amazing. In my case, it has changed the course of my condition and enabled me to face the daily changes of this degenerative disease.
I hope you will be able to support me in this challenge.
