Abraham’s Care
Donation protected
Thank friends for helping us get Abraham this far with your prayers and financial assistance. He can now sit up in his wheelchair which is amazing. The doctors believe Abraham can walk again with consistent rehab. Whether he goes to inpatient or someone comes to the house remains to be seen. It’s our hope that Abraham will be able to one day return to his job as a tailor. He’s the breadwinner of his family in Ghana. It’s all going to take time, patience, prayers and funds. We know that God has a plan and that in His mercy, he spared Abraham. In Ghana there is no system for benefits when you’re injured and can’t work. There is no medical insurance to cover you in the event of an emergency. Everyone in the country relies on the kindness of neighbors and family. Fortunately Stephen has a family here in the US. We have been blessed to be his support through many crises back home. Life is very hard there. The goal is simple. We want to keep getting Abraham all of the medical care and rehabilitation he can get so that he may one day return to work. Any help that you can give is so deeply appreciated. It cost $70 a day to be in the hospital in Ghana. The rehab center is $150 for a whole week. I am not sure what equipment Abraham will need at home but Stephen has found a resource to get it. These things are not easy to come by in Ghana. I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for any assistance you can give this suffering family.
