Abraham Ortiz's Travel and Lodging Expenses
Donation protected
On Friday April 2nd, Abraham had a tragic accident at work and 4 of the fingers on his right dominant hand were cut off. He was air lifted to Harbor View and is currently there where he had extensive surgery to repair his hand.
This has been a very challenging time for Abe and his fiancé Jocelyn as they have a young daughter and neither of them are able to be with him due to the hospital’s Covid restrictions. He is a very active person who loves to work and is the first to lend a hand to family and friends. While he is going to be adapting to this life change, we want to make sure that Abe and Jocelyn can focus on helping him recover and heal so he can get back to living a wonderful and productive life that he is used to.
The funds will be used for lodging, travel, and other unforeseen expenses related to frequent doctor and specialist appointments in Seattle. It is unknown at this time how long his recovery will be and when he will be able to return to work. He is the primary household earner, and we want to make sure he can focus on his rehabilitation and not on all the unforeseen expenses that quickly add up, especially when he is not able to work.
Lastly, thank you to all the family and friends who have been praying and providing support to Abe, Jocelyn, and Ellie during this difficult time. We appreciate all the support to those in advance who give to help ease the stress in financial costs not covered by insurance.
Most important of all, please continue to pray for his healing, recovery, and that the Lord will help give him peace and the ability to adjust to this new way of life.
