Here is a little summary from Abood

My name is Abood. I am a 22 year old Palestinian. I lost my father when I was only five years old, and since then my mother and my sisters and brothers have faced many hardships.

During the recent war we were forced to flee many times to escape the bombing and danger. After the ceasefire we returned and found our apartment badly damaged. We tried to repair what we could just to protect ourselves from the rain and sun, but the attacks continued and we were forced to leave again.

Later, our home was completely destroyed and is now just piles of rubble. We cannot even reach the land we own because it is now inside restricted military zones. Losing our home has been one of the most painful realities we are living through.

We are a family of 10 people, including small children. The youngest is a baby who is only one and a half years old and needs milk and proper nutrition. Today we live in extremely difficult conditions with severe shortages of food, clean water, and electricity. We are simply trying to survive.

Despite everything, I continued my education under very difficult circumstances and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. I dream of continuing my studies and building a better future for my family away from war.

We kindly ask for your support and donations to help us secure the minimum necessities of life, especially food and milk for the baby and basic daily needs. Any help, no matter how small, can make a real difference for us.
