Antonio

My Godson Antonio is a true fighter, survivor and a warrior. He has dealt with - and continues to deal with - many medical challenges since the day he was born. Having heart surgery just days after we welcomed him to this world, he also unfortunately received a brain cancer diagnosis at age 6. Most recently, after being approved for a heart and a liver transplant, he unfortunately again received another cancer diagnosis, this time in his mouth. He has had several surgeries over the past month, and his mother Theresa (my first cousin and a widow) has been staying with him at the hospital in NYC even though they reside in South Jersey. Theresa also has another son, Nolan, who is special needs who unfortunately has had to stay at home in NJ while Antonio recovers in the hospital.

If you have been fortunate enough to meet Theresa and/or Antonio, you would never know the challenges they have endured. Always upbeat, positive, selfless and thoughtful, I am so very blessed to have both of them in my life. They are two of the strongest people I have ever known.

All funds raised will go towards not only Antonio’s medical expenses, but also towards other costs incurred with his care in NYC (travel expenses, food expenses, hotel expenses for Theresa). Any amount you can give would be most appreciated.
