Abi Coonrod's Breast Cancer Journey

Hi all-

Our names are Chase and Kit. We are Abi's Brother-In-Laws (Cody's youngest sibling Chase and husband Kit) from Arkansas.

A note from Cody-

"It’s been a hard few weeks in our household. This past week was the culmination of everything. Thursday, we found out that Abi was diagnosed with breast cancer. The news came and I felt as I had been kicked between the legs by a mule. She is by far the strongest person that I know, and while the news was a tough pill to swallow, I don’t know anybody is capable of kicking cancers ass more than her."

As everyone knows, Cancer is emotionally, physically and financially taxing. My husband and I have chosen to set up this GoFundMe as we begin to assist Cody and Abi navigate this journey. Coming from a small town, our family understands the word community to an extended capacity. Community is who we are, where we live, how we love and how we hold each other up. If we can alleviate the financial burden from Cody and Abi's journey, that is one less thing for them to worry about. Our community is ready to be there for Abi and Cody because this is no longer their fight but OUR fight.

Together we will be strong, we will have hope, and we will never lose our faith! We are so proud of Abi and her courage as she begins this chapter of her life.
