As you have all heard by now, the earthquake in Nepal has taken the lives of thousands.
Our dear friend Abinash and his family living in Patan, Kathmandu are feeling and seeing the stresses of how these events have dramatically changed their beloved home.
Abinash is a social entrepreneur with a deep love for people and restoring architectural heritage. With a growing consioucness for how design, business, and empathy can play a direct impact on the daily lives of families in his hometown, he has been on the mission to restore one building each year into a hotel in service to create meaningful economic opportunities for the local community. He has one hotel and it is still standing. Yet the surrounding vistas of temples and ancient history are not to be forgotton.
To top off it, monsoon season is arriving in about a month and the urgency to deploy resources to the community for safety is needed.
We are asking you, his DMBA family & friends, to contribute to this fund to help Abinash & his community to set up shelter for the families in Patan, Katmandu who have been displaced.
