Abin Philip, Sunshine Coast

Abin Philip (24), University Student from Sunshine Coast, tragically lost his life in a swimming accident in Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Abin moved to Sunshine Coast in 2019 and was in the final year of his studies.

Abin was an outstanding soccer player and a passionate photographer. He was also an active member of the Kerala Community on the Coast, representing International Students at the Executive Committee of the Sunshine Coast Kerala Association (SCKA).

Abin is from the Peringuzha, Muvattupaha in Eranakulam District, Kerala leaves behind his parents and a younger brother studying in Bangalore. Abin arrived in Australia to pursue his higher studies and to support his family. The family expressed their wishes to have his funeral in India.
