I’m running the London Marathon 2020 to raise much needed funds for two incredible organisations. All donations large and small are hugely welcome. As I’m raising for two causes (more below) this account will curate all funds and once I’ve completed the Marathon, I'll split the total between these two organisations equally. I’ll post certified receipts from both charities to confirm your generous donation has been received.
 
LEUKAEMIA & LYMPHOMA RESEARCH UK
Beating blood cancers since 1960, my family owes this organisation a huge debt of gratitude. My father was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in 1997 and at the time this very aggressive form of blood cancer killed 85% of sufferers within three years. Thanks to the pioneering research, education and care of this organisation alongside St George’s Hospital, Tooting, my father survived, thrived and remains in remission today.
 
BREAST CANCER NOW
Providing world-class research and life-changing care for those affected by breast cancer, this is an organisation among several in our country which aims to tackle and beat one of the most common cancers in the UK, accounting for one sixth of all cases of cancer in both women and men combined. A shocking fact to motivate me to fundraise for a much deserving cause.
 
My target is high. As high as my ambition to achieve it!
