Hi, my name is Shane Heatley and I'm raising money for my granddaughter Abi Rae Mumpower; she was born on 12/13/2023 with complications and is still in the NICU at Erlanger Childerns Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she was taken from the delivery room by emergency transport. She suffered a condition at birth known as merconium aspiration, which kept her from breathing on her own. Life saving procedures are still underway, focused on minimizing any injuries due to lack of oxygen for that first 15 minutes; the most serious of possible injuries being brain damage.

Despite all of her initial challenges, Abi continues to improve and she and her family need your help!

Her parents Dillon and Danielle are young adults and hard workers living week to week; Abi having been admitted in a hospital that's 2 hours from home has meant that they haven't been able to work for over 2 weeks. While time has stopped for Dillon and Danielle, the world has not; bills are accumulating and future expenses are looming as Abi will likely need therapy, medications, and specific care throughout her young life to an unknown extent. Any help is greatly appreciated.
