On behalf of Abi, Greg, and their families we are incredibly grateful for all of the love and prayers sent our way. For those of you who do not know, my sister Abi and her boyfriend Greg were in a car accident on their way home from a much needed family thanksgiving in Florida. Luckily, all the air bags deployed and although the car is totaled, both are alive and underwent surgeries this week. Greg will still have one more surgery on his abdomen once they get back home, but they will be staying with Greg’s family in Romeoville until they are strong enough to go back to their 3rd floor city apartment. Greg’s mom and brother and Abi’s mom have been helping these two in the hospital. Their roommate has been taking care of their dog, Kass, and he is safe and sound.

Abi and Greg are so thankful to be alive and even though they are healing from their injuries, they are unable to work at this time.We wanted to start a gofundme to help cover the monthly bills for these young adults as they recover from this accident. $2400 would provide them with one month of financial security so they can focus on getting physically and mentally healthy.

Every little bit helps and in these tough times, even sending your love, prayers, good vibes, positive attitude and support is beyond appreciated. I know we are all so grateful to still have these two beautiful souls in our lives. We love you.
