Hello Sports Fans,

I've had the honor of being a part of Annandale Boys and Girls Club's (ABGC) Girls Travel Soccer Program over the last four years. This exceptional group of young ladies play some tough competition in the NCSL. The NCSL has some top-tier programs throughout Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland. The players have learned teamwork, dedication and resilience while earning a 44-40-16 record and scoring 239 goals across all competitions. They have competed in 8 NCSL seasons played in 12 tournaments (winning three and finishing as runner up in another four).

ABGC does a great job of keeping costs down for its diverse community of players and parents. After four years in our initial uniforms, it’s time to get a new set as we welcome new players to the team. The new sets of uniforms are still quite expensive for families after paying for league fees. This GoFundMe aims to offset the costs for the team's families as much as possible.

The Uniform sets cost $150 per player, and we have 16 girls on the team. We're also looking to pay for warm up jackets at $60 per players. So, our goal is to show the girls how much the community supports them by raising $3,360 to cover the uniforms. If this effort falls short, we will use whatever was raised to offset total costs as much as possible. If we surpass the goal, we will use the additional funds to purchase equipment or additional warm up gear (pants).

Hopefully, reaching out to our broad community of friends and co-workers will make short work of this endeavor. Please donate whatever amount you can as every dollar put into the pot saves for our families.
