Aberdeen Musician Ralph Greig

Hi, my name is Karen. My beloved partner and soul mate of 27 years. Ralph Greig age 67 who was a local musician in Aberdeen and played with bands such as Heads & Hearts, Gerry Jablonski Band, Snakebite, Billy Shears Band, Atlantic Avenue to name but a few suffered a stroke in March 2023. He was left paralysed and in a wheel chair and blind in one eye. He never really recovered and has been slowly declining ever since. Unfortunately he is now in his last few days and the medical team have started end of life care. The doctors are saying he has 2-10 days to live. I am beyond devastated and not coping very well. Ralph was the love of my life, and I don't know how to live without him. I have been signed off from work for the last 6 months with severe stress and have been caring for him day and night. I have bearly left the house since February. Ralph is now 5 stone, confused and non communicative. He is bed bound and has stopped eating and drinking. On top of all this I am at my wits end regarding finances and how to afford a funeral. Money is very tight and anything that comes in goes on rent, bills and caring for Ralph. Please if you can help donate ANYTHING no matter how small, I would be eternally grateful and it would allow me to give Ralph the send off he deserves.
