Hey all - I've been in contact with the Larkspur Public Works Department about donating a bench in Alex's honor on the Sandra Marker Trail behind Redwood High School, more affectionately known by all us Redwood kids as simply 'the path.'

At first, I was going to try to raise the money from a few folks, but after thinking about it I think it'd be nice to crowdfund this. This way it can come from everyone in Alex's tribe.

We've picked out a nice spot on the path under the shade of a buckeye tree, in full view of Mt. Tam. I think he'd like it, and I'd be honored if you could help make it happen.

Donations will cover the cost of installation. If we raise more than we need, I'll talk to the Dennys about a suitable charity to give it to. If you have any questions about specifics, don't hesitate to contact me.

Thank you all for making this happen. There aren't words for the grief that I and all of us feel, but I'm grateful that we can all find ways to honor his memory, however small they may be.

Rest in Peace, Alex. We miss you each and every day.
