Ben Abel has always had the biggest heart, and his family has always brought joy and light to everyone’s life. Ben is a wonderful father, husband, son, brother, friend and family to all. Ben is a lover of the outdoors and is a huge ASU fan.  There is nothing Ben would not do for someone else if the need was there. He is looked up to by so many people in his family, work and church as a leader who leads by example.

Ben, his wife Michelle, and their 4 beautiful children: Brynlee, Tycen, Emery and Kynzie, are now experiencing a new reality. Ben has been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer, currently in Stage 4. While this news is not anything Ben or his family could have planned for, they are in good spirits and ready for the fight.

This has been hard for many people who know Ben and his family to process and watch as this wonderful family has been down this road before. Ben’s father Ronald Abel passed away from lung cancer several years ago. Our hope is to bring some light into the Abel family and their lives by providing and supporting during this fight.

Though we do not know all of the answers or possible methods of treatment yet, any donation received will assist in any unforeseen expenses as well as treatment and care for Ben and his family. Modern Medication and treatments have come a long ways since his Father was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and Ben is very optimistic of what his outcome will be.
