Hello, this is Abel my 3 year old frenchie. Yesterday (May 14, 2020)  Abel's hind legs lost movement from one minute to the next. He was taken to the ER in McAllen, TX and we were told he had a herniated disc.  He needs spinal surgery in order to save his legs, or he’ll no longer be able to do his favorite thing anymore, run.  

I had to rush him to San Antonio in order to get this procedure done. I can’t get into detail about this surgery because I know nothing about it since this just happened out of the blue. All I know is that he has a 50/50 chance of walking again.  

My baby boy is my favorite creature on this planet. He loves all and is loved by all. He’s sweet, smart, energetic, wild and an explorer. He loves being out and meeting people.
