Abel Vera y Familia (Abel Vera and Family)

Querida familia y amigos,

Con profundo dolor queremos informarles a todos del fallecimiento de nuestro querido Abelito (el Gordo, como lo llamabamos cariñosamente). Todos los que lo conocieron saben de su gran corazon y de su amor incondicional hacia su familia, su esposa e hija, que han quedado completamente desprotegidas. Su amor hacia su familia lo llevo a emigrar desde Cuba a Estados Unidos para poder ofrecer un mejor futuro a su hija Maybel, quien cumplio sus 15 años recientemente. Desde que llego, siempre se enfoco en trabajar muy duro para ayudar a su familia y poder tenerlas consigo, hasta que finalmente Dios permitio que asi fuera. Todo su tiempo y esfuerzo estaba volcado en salir adelante, y a pesar de ser un immigrante y de no conocer el idioma, logro con mucho esfuerzo y sacrificio sacar adelante a su familia. Nada era mas importante para el que la proteccion de su esposa e hija. Y asi era el, con una sonrisa siempre en la boca, con una broma siempre para todos, con una mano para ayudar a quien lo necesitara. Su esposa e hija estan devastadas; han perdido a su esposo, a su padre, y a su sosten. Pedimos desde el dolor de nuestro corazon que puedan ayudarnos con lo que les sea posible. Sabemos de los momentos dificiles que estamos viviendo. Pero tambien sabemos que hay muchas personas que nos quieren ayudar. Se lo agrdecemos infinitamente, como asi mismo se los agradece el "Gordo" desde el cielo.

With deep sorrow, we want to inform everyone about the passing of our beloved Abelito (whom we affectionately called "El Gordo"). All those who knew him are aware of his big heart and his unconditional love for his family, his wife, and daughter, who have been left completely unprotected. His love for his family led him to immigrate from Cuba to the United States in order to offer a better future to his daughter Maybel, who recently turned 15. From the moment he arrived, he always focused on working very hard to support his family and eventually bring them over. All his time and effort were devoted to moving forward, and despite being an immigrant and not knowing the language, he managed, with a lot of effort and sacrifice, to help his family progress. Nothing was more important to him than protecting his wife and daughter. And that's how he was – always with a smile on his face, always ready with a joke for everyone, always offering a helping hand to those in need. His wife and daughter are devastated; they have lost their husband, their father, and their provider. From the pain in our hearts, we ask for any possible assistance. We are aware of the difficult times we are living through, but we also know that there are many people who want to help us. We appreciate it infinitely, just as much as the "Gordo" from heaven appreciates it.
