Hi my name is Uche, I am a paramedic in Tumbler Ridge BC Canada, and friends with the Mwansa family as part of the African community here. This fund is being raised to help the family of Abel Mwansa Jr., who sadly lost his life during the tragic school shooting in Tumbler Ridge on February 10th, 2026. The loss of their beloved son is unimaginably devastating to the family and the community-at large. Abel was only 12 years old when his life was suddenly and unfairly cut short. He was a respectful and kind young man who loved his family and Jesus. He was active in the community playing soccer, around the neighborhood and he loved going to school and church. He would always greet you with a smile and wanted to know how you and your family are doing. He leaves behind his grieving father Abel Sr., mother Bwalya, sister Shakainah and baby brother Jasail.
Funds raised will help support the family in their time of need. Please give what you can to help them provide a proper final resting place for their sweet boy, Abel Jr., without financial burden. Funds entering my account will be transferred to my friend and brother, Abel Sr., the father of Abel Jr.
Thank you for your contributions and prayers for this family whose lives have been shattered in an instant.
