Hi I’m Julie I have set this go fund me up for the Cardenas Family . Following are a few words from his daughters .

As some of you know, my dad isn’t doing very well. He was rushed to the ER Friday morning because he stopped breathing. He was without oxygen for about 2 hours from the time the ambulance arrived to the time the took him into surgery to replace the temporary Trach that he got in the ambulance. He still maintained a pulse through it all.

As of today, his vitals are doing great. Clinically he is doing well. But he is constantly seizing from the damage that happened to his brain when it received no oxygen. He is on meds to try to control the seizing and hopefully we get to a point where the can cut back on sedation and with God’s will, he can wake up or show us signs that he is still with us.

All the medical staff have let us know that he isn’t doing well because of his condition but miracles happen. We have faith. Thank you to all who have prayed for my daddy.

Everyone who knows my dad, knows how important he is to us and how WE are his world and he would do anything for US. We need him. We need him with us.

I’m asking for prayers. Especially for my Mother. This is her soulmate. Her life partner. She created life with this man and they have given us everything and have continued to. She needs everyone’s thoughts and prayers. As well, my grandmother, many know she had Alzheimer’s and Dementia, she knows my dad is in the hospital but we have told her it will all be okay. He is okay.

Prayers. Prayers is what we all need right now.
