Abel Balderaz memorial fund

My name is David Hill. I manage Pratt & Whitney Canada's off site testing for development engineering.

Tragically, at 52 years of age our dear friend and colleague Abel Balderaz of Ascent Aviation passed away in a motorcycle accident on May 23, 2025. I, like others have known and worked with Abel for over twenty years. As many of us can attest he was the cornerstone of our test operations in Tucson. More importantly, he was honest, genuine and simply a great person who cared deeply and was dedicated to the people in his life both professionally and personally. He leaves behind his wife Heather, four children and their extended families.

Funds received will go towards a memorial plaque to be installed at the new test site in Tucson and additional funds if any will be sent to his family.

Abe will be truly missed by his Pratt & Whitney family. Rest in peace Abe.
