About Abeari: Hello! I go by Abeari but a lot know me as Abe or Beari. I am a Teddy Bear Vtuber that has been streaming on Twitch on & off for 6+ years. I love content creation in the form of streaming as a way of connecting to others inadvertantly giving back to the world through loving others - something I believe is my purpose in life. Though I seem to just be an anime girl with bear ears I am very much a real person behind the avatar you see on your screen. I just want to share fun times, hearty laughs, and silly moments.

A bit more about me:

✦ Born and raised in Washington State

✦ Have been a streamer for 6+ years, a Vtuber for 3+

✦ A big fan of anime, instant & mobile photography, as well as cooking for fun

✦ Lived a Paleo (caveman-like keto) lifestyle for 3 years before reverting

✦ Favorite ice cream is vanilla bean or honey lavender

What's going on?

I'm in trouble and can only do so much to support myself at this time. My current job is with a temporary agency and they've reduced my work from 25 hours a week to 1-2 shifts a week for the next 8+ weeks with little advance notice. As you can imagine even at minimum wage here in Seattle this is not easy to get by on with our high rent prices. As it stands since losing my full-time job back in February of 2024 I was unemployed for 9 months and was able to get this job back in November. It's barely enough to make ends meet when I started and now it is impossible to afford anything beyond maybe my cell phone bill and electricity. It hasn't been easy but I've managed to stay afloat working this temporary job, doing art commissions, and streaming on Twitch for any extra income I can get.

Why create a gofundme?

I've debated if my decision to make this gofundme was even worthy of help. And though part of me feels like others deserve more help than I do - I can't deny that my support system is incredibly limited. Some may or may not know this but I do not have any living immediate family to rely on and the few distant relatives I do have have left me on my own. Despite making statements that I need help or wish I could trade places with my late mother at times... I am on my own. I need help and there is no shame in asking for it. So here I am - doing my best in my own way.

How will your donation be used?

✦ To cover 3 months of upcoming rent for the months of March, April, & May (this will prevent the possibility of eviction)

✦ Any electricity bills that may be accumulated due to winter-into-spring weather

✦ Helping with being able to afford medications until Abeari finds out if she qualifies for low-income/free insurance

✦ Cell phone bill to make sure Abeari can be contacted for new job opportunities

✦ Groceries until Abeari can find out if she qualifies for food stamps (assuming the US government doesn't take them away)

✦ Necessities such as toilet paper, soap, feminine supplies, etc.

Moving forward:

I have plans to continue looking for full-time work as I have been, streaming as often as I can to bring smiles to others' faces, and doing art when I have capacity in order to supplement the income I will get from the 1-2 shifts I may get from my temporary job for the next 8+ weeks. After the 8+ weeks my normal hours (25/week) are anticipated to resume but I am hoping to have found a full-time job that will help me get back on my feet once more & continue streaming. I want to give back to everyone through continuing to foster a community that others can feel safe, warm, & at home in!
