17 year old Abdul Rehman has been diagnosed recently with renal failure. He needs urgent kidney transplant from a non-relative donor. While a donor has been identified, the cost for the procedure is between 1.6 to 1.7 million PKR ( $16000 to $17000).
After the death of his father, Abdul Rehman’s mother struggled as a single mother to cater for her family. She worked as a home tuitor in Lahore to take care of Abdul Rehman and his two other brothers. His elder brother, Ali Ameen, is a recent graduate of Lahore University of Management Sciences. Ali and his mother are trying to put as much money together as they can, but their finances fall short of the required amount.
Abdul Rehman is a brilliant young man with goals and ambitions to match. He got admitted a few weeks ago to the Government College University (GCU) Lahore, one of the nation’s most prestigious institution.
