Bismillāh-ir-Raḥmān-ir-Raḥīm.
Dear brothers and sisters, We are raising funds to build a borehole in Nigeria as ṣadaqah jāriyah (ongoing charity) for Nyla’s beloved late grandfather (Abdullahi Dambam) and grandmother (Fausat Masha).
The Prophet ﷺ said: “When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him” (Muslim). Providing clean water is one of the greatest forms of ongoing charity, bringing life and benefit to many in need.
The cost of a hand borehole is approximately £1,000, so our target is £2,000 to build two boreholes. If we are unable to reach the full amount, we will build several standard wells (approximately £200 each ) inshā’Allāh.
Every contribution, no matter how small, is an investment for the Hereafter and a means of continuous reward for the deceased.
May Allah accept from you and bless you abundantly. Ameen.
