I have received a prominent position at the University of Alabama's MFA program, and I'm excited for the change to do what I love, but the costs to move to the US are an obstacle for me.

I'm reaching out for financial support to secure my visa and travel expenses for the move, and that's the main goal of this fundraiser.

SEVIS fee $400

Visa fee $200

Flight ticket & travel $1500

Rent + Security Deposit $2000

Food for the first month: $500

Personal necessities and essentials: $500

NB: the figures are rounded up to cover any slight hikes in the service cost.
