Abdul Hamid Memorial Fundraiser

On August 26th my good friend and co-worker Abdul Hamid went to be with Allah. Hamid had been hospitalized for few weeks with Covid. I am raising money for the family to help with hospital bills, any funeral expenses and to help provide for education for his grandson.

Hamid leaves behind his wife Theresa, 3 children Timothy, Ali and Layla and his grandson Liam. He had 3 siblings Afaf, Safa, and Essam. Hamid loved his family and was extremely proud of his kids and grandson. He was born in Sudan and moved to America when he was young. He worked at Samsung for 22 years and I worked with him for 15 years. We spoke on a regular basis and he was a great human being. He always told me to work to be rich but to work for love. He enjoyed the people he worked with and was never negative. I spoke to him two days before he passed and he was still positive. His common greeting when someone asked him how he was doing was "absolutely magnificent". His last greeting was no different. He was positive to the end. The final words he said to me were he was going to quit smoking, drinking and take a vacation with his wife Theresa when get got better. He also told me he was going to get vaccinated. He never said he regretted not being vaccinated as regret was not in his vocabulary. I will always respect the time we spent and will miss my friend and co-worker.
