Abdoul Fall, has passed away

Many of you may have already heard the tragic news, but for those who have not: It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our colleague Abdoul Fall. Abdoul passed away last Friday morning in Ottawa, after a short battle with cancer. Abdoul was an honest, dedicated, and hard-working member of IM/IT for almost 9 years. He was generous, knowledgeable, and was always willing to help. Our time together with Abdoul, our shared memories, and his contributions to the team will never be forgotten. It is a great loss for us and his passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Aminata Sy, and his two teenage children, Bouna Fall and Fatou Fall during this difficult time.

Beaucoup d'entre vous ont peut-être déjà entendu la tragique nouvelle, mais pour ceux qui ne savent pas: C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous informons du décès de notre collègue Abdoul Fall. Abdoul est décédé vendredi matin dernier à Ottawa, après une courte bataille contre le cancer. Abdoul a été un membre honnête, dévoué et travailleur de la IM/IT pendant près de 9 ans. Il était généreux, compétent et toujours prêt à aider. Notre temps avec Abdoul, nos souvenirs partagés et ses contributions à l'équipe ne seront jamais oubliés. C'est une grande perte pour nous et sa disparition laisse un vide impossible à combler. Il nous manquera beaucoup à tous.

Nos pensées et nos prières vont à son épouse, Aminata Sy, et à ses deux enfants adolescents, Bouna Fall et Fatou Fall en cette période difficile.
