This has been constant the past 6 months...Like most women can relate..the covid weight gain showed up your doorstep so it was time to get in the gym to get that "gut" off before "Hot Girl Summer" hit. I was one of those women, thinking the same recipe needed to apply for me. I worked at it off & on for 2.6 years after covid19. Nothing seemed to shake, I was losing weight but not in my mid area!

Summer 2022, eight days AFTER my 32nd Birthday the inevitable happened, I was part of a company layoff. Since then, I have not been full-time in corporate america (having a hard time finding full-time work in the HR/Recruiting field) , and also lost a few contracts within my cleaning business I had recently started after contract timeframe ended. All of this SAME YEAR! So, here I am STRESSSSSSED to the max & back to thinking, this is why my weight gain has happened. WRONG.

it wasn't until back in November 2023 when God started waking me up in the middle of the night, having me pray over my stomach because prior to that, I had a feeling something was wrong. I didn't have insurance so I wasn't able to check it out.

Fast forward... January 2024 I was approved for medicaid & booked an appt immediately. Sure enough, it was exactly what I suspected...FIBROIDS! But, they were/are enlarged, currently several are as big as oranges. So, what has my Dr. suggested? Surgery immediately before they get any larger & I'd have to have an hysterectomy...meaning NO KIDS But, with surgery comes having to be out of work 3-6wks for complete healing.

So, why am I here? I need your support. I work 20-24hrs a week at a part-time retail store with NO time off or short-term time. Therefore, I wouldn't have enough more to cover my rent + utilities and recovery plan for the month and a half.
