Emergency: Abdiladif’s Liver Transplant

Hi friends and family,

 

My name is Idil and I am fundraising on behalf of Abdiladif Sheikh who is a 16 year old from the Somali region of Ethiopia, he is in dire need of our help to fund his liver transplant. Unfortunately, Abdiladif was misdiagnosed with hepatitis B while in Ethiopia and, as a result, received inadequate and inappropriate treatment. With the help of generous donors, he is now in Turkey with his Mother on a temporary visa (6 months) to get a liver transplant, and time is running out, and his condition is regressing the longer he goes without a transplant.

$40’000 will pay for Abdiladif’s liver transplant in Turkey, immunosuppressants and follow up care. By the grace of Allah alone $34k has been raised but I have committed to raising the remaining $6k (just shy of £5000) on this blessed 27th night of Ramadan. I have just two weeks to raise this amount! I am writing this from the comfort of the UK with the knowledge that the NHS will have my back if I ever need an organ transplant.

The sad reality is he will die without this surgery. He will die without our help. Please help me support Abdiladif have a chance at life.
