Abby Flynn's Road To Recovery!

Our girl Abby needs our help! Last August, Abby decided to move out of state to Colorado to start a new chapter in her life. She has been working as a bartender and renting a house with her boyfriend for the past year.

 

She was enjoying all the wonderful outdoor activities like snowboarding and hiking that Colorado has to offer until being hit by a car changed her life forever.

 

Unfortunately, on March 12th, 2022, at 8:18 PM, Abby was on her scooter in a residential area on her way home from work when she was violently struck by a car driving by. The vehicle did not stop, so it was a hit-and-run, but luckily a few good Samaritans saw what happened and ran out to assist her. She is fortunate to be alive but has had to have her entire left arm reconstructed. After four surgeries, two blood transfusions, and a week’s stay in the hospital later, she is finally in the process of healing. Abby has a long road ahead of her. With working in the restaurant industry and living in a new state, she has no insurance or income to help her during this recovery process.

 

With all things considered, Abby has a wonderful disposition and is making strides with her recovery. She is starting physical therapy two times per week.

 

We would like to help her financially so she doesn’t have to stress about paying house or medical bills which are piling up. Our goal is to help her take the time to recover and do the proper physical therapy that she needs to be able to use her left arm normally again.

 

Unfortunately, Abby will never be the same, but we want to try to help her get to the best place she can possibly be. We are so grateful and lucky that an arm injury is the worst she ended up with because we all know it could’ve been much worse.
