My name is Abby. I am currently going through cancer. I was diagnosed in March of 2023 with rectal cancer that metastasized to my liver. I started chemo, and after 4 chemo treatments, I was admitted to the hospital for a blockage in my rectum. The blockage was actually the tumor that had fallen off the wall of the rectum. They were able to take out the tumor with clean margins. A colostomy was done during that surgery. After recovering from surgery, I started on radiation for 30 treatments. Then, in January of 2024, I had another surgery to take out the tumor in my liver and implant a hepatic artery pump, which sends chemo directly to the liver. The colorectal surgeon tried to reverse my colostomy, but my uterus and ovaries had fallen down and adhered to the rectal stump, so he was unable to reverse it. While doing chemo to my liver, I had another CT scan in April 2024, which showed that the rectal cancer had recurred and it showed in my uterus and ovaries also. We have been doing chemo ever since but can’t get the cancer to shrink enough to do surgery. My oncologist said that we are getting close to not being able to do surgery at all and then will just do chemo as long as it keeps the tumor from growing. I’m not ready to give up. I have too many promises from Jesus for healing and that I will live and not die. I believe God led me to Envita. They combine both integrative and targeted chemo directly to the tumor. They are also faith-based. Since insurance won’t pay for integrative medicine, I need to raise the money to go to Arizona and get the treatment.
