Abby's Insulin pump fund

Donation protected

Abby is a vibrant 40 year old mother of 4 children who has been a Type 1 diabetic for the past 22 years. 4 years ago, after experiencing hospice care for a dying grandparent,  she decided she wanted to become a hospice nurse-- and she did! She works Thursday, Friday, and   Saturday nights, 12 hours shifts, so she can be available for her kids during the day.
Abby's disease has been out of control for about a year now since her insulin pump broke.  Not being able to afford another one, she has been trying to control her blood sugars with testing 6 or more times a day and taking insulin injections. As a result of  her erratic sugars, her eyesight has been affected and she has neuropathy in her legs and feet.  Her physician abruptly put her on a 6 week medical leave from work after her check up this week. Her doctor says it is CRUCIAL for her to get back on the pump so she can be a healthy mother for her kids. Here is  a link to the pump her doctor feels she needs: https://www.medtronicdiabetes.com/products/minimed-670g-insulin-pump-system The pump and supplies alone cost $10,000.
On top of this news, Abby found out that her landlady is putting their home up for sale and Abby and her 4 kids need to move by April. Between the new pump, moving, and not being able to work for 6 weeks, Abby Needs Our Help! Let's remove the financial barrier and stress to obtain this lifesaving and stabilizing equipment, and help Abby and her family move into the next season of their life.
