Abby's fight against neuroblastoma

Update Oct 2022=
Hi everyone. So in May 2021 our close friends Helen, Ben and their family were told the news that their daughter Abigail age 7 had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of stage 4 neuroblastoma. Abigail began a very long and intense treatment plan.
17 months down the line Abigail has now had an unreal… 21 rounds of chemotherapy after only expecting to have 7 rounds. Abigail has then amazingly gone on to have an extremely intense course of specialist radiation therapy. This amazing girl has been in and out of hospital, she had had numerous bone aspirations, procedures, tests and scans and truth be told has one of the rarest diagnoses going.
Abigail has very recently had special biopsies taken to help her consultant team try and come up with a brand new treatment plan for her due to how complex and unusual her case is. Please continue to support the Ford family and our brave amazing Abigail. I’ve never come across a girl that can still smile like she does given everything she is going through.
Any fundraising can go to help the family continue to make memories during this still very uncertain time. And also act as a safety net for the family should alternative treatment options become available.

In May 2021 our close friend and work colleague Helen and her family were told the news that their daughter Abigail age 7 had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of stage 4 neuroblastoma. Abigail is currently undergoing a very long and intense treatment plan.
Abigail is having 10 rounds of alternate chemotherapy treatment if not more, followed by an operation to hopefully remove the primary cancer which is situated in her abdomen . Abigail is then due 6 weeks of intense chemotherapy and will be admitted to hospital for this cycle. She will then have radiotherapy and immunotherapy and scans throughout to monitor the cancers growth.
These funds will allow Abby and her family to make memories during this very dark and very uncertain time. They will also act as a safety net for the family should the treatment fail and alternative treatment options are required.
The added impact of COVID19 has resulted in Abby having to isolate from people and her normal surroundings due to her low immune system and the risk of infection. This includes school, family, friends, activities and just living the life of a normal 7 year old. This money will help us to give Abby the chance to still live the life that a 7 year old girl should be able to live and will allow us to help create safer opportunities for her to enjoy her chosen wishes and experiences.
Please help support our friend, Abby and their family and help give them peace of mind and the chance to make memories as a family at this difficult time, as the actual outcome is still unknown at this current time. ❤️
