Hi, my name is Christy. I’m reaching out for support to help my daughter, Abby, achieve her dream of becoming a Mortician.

Abby is a compassionate, creative, unique young lady who graduated High School in May 2025. Now she is feverishly working toward a really big goal. To become a mortician—someone who brings dignity, peace, and comfort to individuals as they are laid to rest and to the families in their darkest moments.

After losing several loved ones at a young age, Abby found her purpose in helping others through their own grief. She planned to serve through the Army’s 92M mortuary program, but medical disqualification takes that option off the table. That won’t stop Abby! This amazing young lady is determined to pursue her calling by enrolling at Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston. However, the cost for her degree and certificate program is steep, and with twins heading to college and other recent hardships, we simply can’t do this alone. As a mom, I am asking you…

Her particular program will cost $19,015. This amount includes an AAS in Funeral Services, as well as getting her Certificate in Funeral Directing. So, when she is all done, she will be able to hit the ground running. We absolutely need help to ensure Abby’s dream of helping others comes true. Every donation of any denomination helps.
