Abby's double transplant

Hello, My name is Cyndi Coma, and I am starting a fundraiser for Abriel a.k.a "Abby" Lee-Vanblaricom, wife of Darrin VanBlaricom, daughter of Chris Lee and Ron Lee. Abby grew up in Raymond, Wa., many of you may remember her as the waitress/bartender at the Boondocks or out and about with her clients as an at-home healthcareworker. She has helped so many people in our community, but now its time to help her. Abby was born with a congenital heart defect that has had since birth. She has had 10 open heart surgeries and countless procedures over the years. Her condition has recently worsened, and her heart has taken its strain on her liver and now she needs a Combined Heart and Liver Transplant (CHLT). To get this done, her team at the University of Washington has decided that Cedar-Sinai Transplant Center in Los Angeles is better suited to her needs. She will be transported to California at the end of the March beginning of April. There are many things that insurance does not cover since the surgery will be taking place out of state. She will not be given a nurse or healtcare professional to help her recover. She will also have to rent somewhere to live for at least a year due to the followo-up appointments with her surgical team. She must stay within a certain number of hours from the transplant facility. If you can spare anything to help Abby and Darrin, get through this troubling time, we thank you very much.
