Mom with Cancer & Father deported.

Three years ago, on March 11th, 2014, was the day I heard the word cancer for the first time. It changed my life forever. It was very difficult to be told that sarcoma cancer had invaded my entire body with a total of seven tumors. I was diagnosed with stage four liposarcoma cancer. It has not been an easy journey. I have had several surgeries, some radiation treatments, and many chemotherapy treatments. Last year, another obstacle came my way. My husband and supporter was drastically removed from our home. My husband was deported to Mexico, leaving me to pay rent, utilities, food, and the many medical expenses I incur monthly because of my vigorous cancer treatments. It has been very difficult since his deportation, since he was the sole bread winner for my family. I was left with my boys to continue to provide for them. It is very difficult to have to deal with the many side effects of my cancer treatments and to have lost my bestfriend of thirteen years of being by my side. When nighttime comes, and pain and fustrations overcome, I cannot hold his hand or hug him. All I can do is continue to trust in God that one day, we can become united again. My sons are a blessing and continue to help me by continuing to show me their excellent grades in school. Even though their mom is always in pain, and their dad is not present in their life, they continue to strive and show that they will become successful in life. A couple of months ago, I started another clinical trial under the direction of Dr. Victor Villalobos to try to have the tumors stop growing. I started a new treatment called immunotherapy cancer treatment. This was yet another way to try to maintain the tumors from growing. Unfortunately, last week, during our mothly scans to see the progress of my cancer, I was given more bad news. The tumors that had been stabilized for the last several months have now started to grow very rapidly. The doctors have ordered to begin a very rigorous radiation treatment to help stop the growth of the tumor that has matastasized to the lungs. Although the doctors have now notified me that the cancer within my body is incurable, I continue to pray and put all my faith in God. Since my husband's deportation, I have been left alone to continue to raise my children and continue my cancer treatments by myself. It has been very difficult to continue to go to my treatments on a weekly basis and now that the treatments will have to be daily, I feel I need to make a decision. I believe that my family and I need to relocate from Colorado to California in order to have more family support to help us continue this cancer journey. I have started this gofundme in order to be able to raise funds to be able to relocate to California and to be closer to family, so that we may have more support and to have my boys visit their father more regularly. Also, these funds would be used to help cover the many extra medical expensed incured from all the vigorous cancer treatments. I thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart for all your financial support and prayers. God Bless.
