My 8 year old niece, Abbygail Elvia Sandoval, was diagnosed with Juvenile Huntington’s Disease in 2022. JHD is a hereditary, neurodegenerative disease characterized by a progressive loss of control over movement, emotion, and thinking (to put it as simple as possible)…
All help will go towards the at home care necessities/assistance devices that she needs that insurance does not cover. There are many adjustments and equipment our family needs to keep her comfortable and safe as she loses functioning. ( Showering chair, special wheelchair, ramps, covers, non slip mats, feeding tube covers, etc.)
While this disease has taken it’s toll on our Abby, she is so strong and always finds her way back to her beautiful little smile!
