Two weeks ago I was t-boned by a hit-and-run driver -- they were never found. My car was totalled, and I only had liability insurance. In the impact I suffered a severe concussion when my head broke my driver's side window, and heavy bruising to my left side and legs when my steering column and drivers side were completely smashed in.  I drained my bank accounts to purchase a car a couple days later.  I rushed through the process because I couldn't afford to miss more than the two days of work I already had.  Unfortunately, after having the new car for two weeks I went to leave work over the weekend and it wouldn't start.  It could be one of several things, but will be very costly to have towed to and repaired at the dealership.  This incident has led me to a very scary time in my life physically and financially.  I have no way to transport my child to day care and get myself to work. On top of everything the owner is selling the home I have lived in for the past years.  The financial/physical/emotional strain all of this is putting on my little family is terrifying.  I have an incredibly hard time asking for help, but I am here asking for anything you might have to give to get myself to the doctor, my car on the road, and my little family into a new house.
