Abby y Felipe son dos hermanitos que llegaron a nosotros como consecuencia de la irresponsabilidad de quienes no esterilizan a sus animales, a pesar de nuestros constantes esfuerzos por concienciar. Para nosotros, son dos pequeños luchadores que merecen una vida digna y feliz.

Fueron encontrados en condiciones lamentables, con un comportamiento muy extraño. Al principio pensamos que sufrían de ataxia, pero tras llevarlos al neurólogo, aún no tenemos un diagnóstico claro. Ambos son ciegos y pasan el día intentando cazar cosas que no existen, golpeándose con todo a su alrededor. Su comportamiento es desconcertante, y los especialistas aún no saben con certeza qué les ocurre.

Nos han recomendado realizar pruebas neurológicas para poder entender mejor su situación y ofrecerles el tratamiento adecuado. Cada conjunto de pruebas (resonancia magnética, TAC, punción lumbar, laboratorios) cuesta cerca de 1.000 euros por gatito, y lamentablemente, las arcas están vacías.

Por eso hemos creado este GoFundMe: para recaudar los fondos que podrían cambiarles la vida. Con tu ayuda, Abby y Felipe podrían recibir el diagnóstico y tratamiento que necesitan para vivir con mayor bienestar.

Abby and Felipe are two little siblings who came to us as a result of the irresponsibility of those who don’t spay or neuter their animals, despite our constant efforts to raise awareness. To us, they are two little fighters who deserve a dignified and happy life.

They were found in terrible condition, displaying very strange behavior. At first, we thought they suffered from ataxia, but after taking them to a neurologist, we still don’t have a clear diagnosis. Both are blind and spend their days trying to catch things that don’t exist, bumping into everything around them. Their behavior is puzzling, and specialists still don’t know for sure what’s going on.

We’ve been advised to carry out neurological tests to better understand their condition and offer them the appropriate treatment. Each set of tests (MRI, CT scan, lumbar puncture, and lab tests) costs around €1,000 per kitten, and unfortunately, our funds are depleted.
