Jenny and Abby went out for a bike ride on April 12, 2025. This day has changed our lives completely.
Here’s their story- Jenny was driving the bike and Abby was on the back, it was a clear beautiful day. Jenny hit a patch of loose gravel on a corner and lost control of the bike. Jenny had to make the decision to put the bike down. They hit the pavement where they both slide for about a 100ft before they were both thrown from the bike!
Jenny has minimal injuries broken big toe(go ahead laugh) only thing Jenny broke thank God. She also has bruised ribs, lacerated liver, slight concussion, and lots of bumps and bruises.
Abby didn't fare as well she was thrown up and toward the center of the road where she came down hard on the back of her head by her neck. Causing her helmet to come up and over her head and fly over 3 car lenght down the road. Her head then came back down on the left side.
She sustained a traumatic brain injury aka TBI (brain bleed) with multiple orbital fractures around her left eye and cheek. Her left eye is also has a blown pupil. She broke her clavicle which she had surgery to fix and everything went great with that. Along with multiple bumps and bruises changing her life completely. However we are so thankful she is alive.
Abby is still in the hospital and will be for the foreseeable future as her brain continues to heal. She is a warrior, and fighting hard everyday to get better!
She has already, come a long way, but still has a long journey ahead of her. We appreciate any prayers and financial donations you are able to give.
