Hi this is PN, Abby’s daughter. Please Help Bring Our Beloved Mum Back Home (Philippines)

My mum, Abby, suddenly passed away here in London on 25th May, surrounded by loved ones who cared for her deeply. After fighting for almost a month against Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and being admitted to hospital she was finally able to return home and start to recover. Unfortunately her condition then deteriorated and she was admitted back into the hospital where she developed sepsis. In under 24 hours the infection overwhelmed her body, which had been through so much, and she passed with her family by her side.

Before she left us, her final wish was to return home to be laid to rest among family and friends in the Philippines.

We're heartbroken to learn that repatriating her remains to Philippines comes with a hefty price tag, one that our family cannot afford on our own. That's why we're turning to the kindness of friends, family and the generosity of our community for help.

We want to have a service in the UK for her family and friends here, and those who cannot travel before returning her home to be laid to rest. We do not have any details as or when this will be but will update as things are confirmed.
