Abbotsford Cardinals Baseball Facility

The Abbotsford Cardinals are a long-time member of the British Columbia Premier Baseball League, a high performance league for 14-18U baseball. With the recent floods in BC, the Cardinals have lost their facility & over $100,000 of turf, cages & equipment. The facility also is the home for the Yale Baseball Academy (a high school training program) & 9 Innings Baseball (a local business providing lessons to the youth baseball 6-13) the water is at least 5ft high inside & outside the building.

A donation of any size would greatly be appreciated, as we look to rebuild and recover from this heartbreaking disaster. We are looking to purchase new turf, pitching machines, batting cages, pitching mounds, baseballs, protective screens and nets, and other related items crucial for the development of our athletes, along with fixing/renovating the current structure as it too is damaged from the water.

Our organization has always taken pride in our work ethic and passion for the game. Day in and day out our players work hard, with aspirations of winning a league championship and playing at the next level. After getting though the covid pandemic as a organization our players were primed and ready for their first full season of baseball

in 2 years, and to have a disaster like this to set us back is truly heartbreaking for everyone involved, from the players and coaches, to the parents and fans.
