Abner Torres

Those who know me understand that I've never been one to ask for help, always being the first to lend a hand. Today, I find myself in a situation where I need to reach out on behalf of someone dear to me. My neighbor and best friend, Abner Torres, tragically passed away on 08/20/23, at the young age of 45. He leaves behind his elderly mother, Evangelista Torres.

Abner was the embodiment of kindness and generosity in our neighborhood. He was the first to offer assistance whenever someone needed it. I remember countless times when I'd step outside to tackle snow on a winter morning, only to discover that Abner had already cleared my path. He was always quick to respond to any household issues, showing up within minutes to fix whatever was broken or leaking. His caring nature extended far beyond any expectations; he selflessly cared for others without ever seeking anything in return.

Now, as we mourn Abner's loss, I ask for your support in helping his 80-year-old mother, Evangelista Torres. She is burdened by financial challenges and could use any assistance that comes her way.
