Update: Thanks to many people behind the scenes, Dr. Neal Dunn, Sheriff Tommy Ford, Dan Sowell, Allan Bense, Jason Shoaf, friends and family, Abbigail was taken by emergency transport to Mayo. She has been there since Friday night. According to doctors at Mayo, part of her pancreas has died. They are hopeful to get her well and reunited with her baby boy, Grayson. We are so appreciative of everyone who has prayed, advocated and donated money.
Abbigail Strickland is a 19 year old mommy of a three week old baby boy. She had emergency gallbladder surgery on Tuesday. On Thursday, she started having complications related to the surgery. Apparently, her pancreas was injured during the surgery and ruptured. The doctors are not giving her any hope, but we are a praying family and are believing God for a miracle. Grayson needs his mommy. Her husband, Brandon, is asking to have her taken out of Bay County. He is going to need money for travel expenses and lodging. They will also be needing help to provide for their baby boy during the time that he is unable to work. In addition, they are still living in a travel trailer. We are trying to get help to have their trailer that was heavily damaged during Hurrricane Michael repaired. We don't want her to have to go back home to a travel trailer when God heals her. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
