Hello All, 

I hope you and your families are staying safe.

I am reaching out because a dear friend of mine lost her sister, Miriam, a few days ago.  She suffered a cancer relapse and before COVID-19 led to her untimely death.  Miriam is leaving behind a husband, who was laid off from his job from FedEx due to the pandemic, and a 5-year old daughter, Abbie, who was extremely close to her mother.  

A group of people are collecting to in order to help cover the costs of cremating Miriam, but I am reaching out to collect some money for her daughter.  Abbie is completely distraught and heartbroken.  She is currently living with my friend, who is her aunt, and will be caring for her until Abbie’s father can emotionally and financially support her.

As of right now she is need of an medium-sized iPad medium size to give her the ability to take her online classes, as well as to keep her busy and take her mind off of the loss of her mother and not living with her father.  I want to be able to collect enough to buy her the iPad, as well as some money to help her support herself in these tough times.  

I understand that we are all struggling with our own battles, but I appreciate anything that you can provide at the moment.
