Ciao a tutti, mi chiamo Alice e vi sto per raccontare come la nostra vita sia stata spazzata via in poche ore.

Nel pomeriggio del 22 luglio la nostra casa è andata distrutta nell'incendio che ha coinvolto il bosco di casaboli e la periferia monrealese.

Prima che l'incendio colpisse il nostro appartamento abbiamo recuperato l'essenziale per me, mio marito e la nostra piccola bimba.

Abbiamo messo in salvo i nostri gattini ma tutto il resto è andato perso.

Nonostante l'interno della nostra abitazione non sia stata coinvolta dal fuoco diretto è ormai impossibile viverci, è impossibile anche solo entrare poiché i danni strutturali sono seri.

Tutta la nostra vita era lì dentro, tutti i nostri ricordi, tutti i nostri sacrifici.

Tutto è stato distrutto in poche ore.

Vi chiediamo una mano per ricominciare, non abbiamo più nulla.

Dobbiamo rimettere la nostra intera vita in piedi.

We Lost Everything in Just a Few Hours

Hello everyone,

My name is Alice, and I want to share how our lives were turned upside down in just a matter of hours.

On the afternoon of July 22, our home was destroyed by the wildfire that swept through the Casaboli forest and the outskirts of Monreale, Sicily.

Before the fire reached our apartment, we were only able to grab the bare essentials for me, my husband, and our little daughter. We were also able to rescue our kittens, but everything else was lost.

Although the inside of our home was not consumed by the flames themselves, the structural damage is so severe that it is no longer safe to enter or live there.

Our entire life was inside that home—our memories, our dreams, and everything we had worked so hard to build.

In just a few hours, it was all gone.

Today, we are asking for your help as we try to start over. We have lost everything and must rebuild our lives from the ground up.

Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference and help our family begin again.
