Abbey is my beautiful, intelligent, and hilarious 12 year-old little sister. Her quick wit and charm have deemed her our family comedian and her ability to always make us laugh has proven to be a blessing to us during our family’s most difficult times. My little mini me has been an inspiration to me all her life despite the fact that she’s ten years younger. Abbey has a determination and love for everything she does and her never give up spirit is inspiring to say the least. She has one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met and right now she’s incredibly sick.

After going to the doctor it was found that she has a tumor in the central part of the brain. When this was discovered Abbey and our mom were immediately driven by ambulance to the Denver Children’s Hospital (260 miles away). Currently the Doctors think the tumor is malignant, but we won’t know for sure until Friday March 11th. Abbey is set to undergo brain surgery on Tuesday. Other than the pain from the fluid buildup and pressure on her brain she has been in good spirits.

Right now we want to solely focus on Abbey and her ongoing treatment. As you can imagine expenses are already accruing quickly, so I’m making this page in hopes to alleviate some of the financial pressure on our family.

Our family would also like to thank all our family and friends for the outpour of love and support we have already received through prayer and good wishes.
