Abbay Paradise Fire

My brother’s house was burned in the Paradise fire. Some of you have asked how you can help and this is the best way right now since all they have left is the clothes on their back and the car they left in. My brother was teaching at the school when they had to evacuate and had no time to go to their house. He loaded students in his own car and drove them to Chico. He spent all day helping children find their parents at the shelter. My sister in law was in Chico taking one of their kids to school and the fire came through the town so fast she couldn’t get up the hill to grab anything from their house.  Pets, photo albums, childhood memorabilia, etc is all gone. They are all alive and safe now and we feel very blessed for that
